In my teenage years, most of my friends were crazy about speedy bikes and fast bowlers. On the other hand, speed did not seem thrilling to me. However, didn’t I aim at being the first one in class to solve all those maths problems? There was nothing like the joy of being the first to do it and race against time.
Race Against Time:
First To Do It
Last week, the joy of being the first to do it was back in my life. We were the first to bid on two projects. Since both the clients wanted them delivered urgently, they chose us right away. Our team did a fantastic job and both the clients went back super happy.
The Joy of Being the First to Do It
- It gives a kick.
- It keeps you on your toes.
- It gets the best out of you.
- It is challenging.
What is addictive about the race against time is that you know you don’t get a second chance. You have to take a decision and take it quickly. Even if you get to know that you’ve made a mistake, you have to show the fortitude of standing by the decision and making efforts towards turning things back to normal. Situations like these arouse the creative side of us and are the best exercises of testing our ability to find ways.
Why We Race Against Time
What makes us pursue speed? Is it the competitive world in which we have been brought up? Probably. We know that everyone will be able to do it. That is when we stop competing against others and race against time. So, make the most of every second because it is all about being the first to do it.
