Letter to Santa

Dear Santa,

Thank you so much for the beautiful gifts. Dashing through the snow on a one horse open sleigh, you brought me the gifts, Mother Mary and Lord Ganesha.

santa-gifts-225x300It means so much to me that you traveled a journey of your own to find and bring the truly blessed gifts that brought me such delight. In your journey, you may have asked yourself, “This or that?” and then decided what would be best for me.

The thoughts you followed, the actions you took and my happiness that you pursued, all of it means the world to me. These gifts symbolize my beliefs and through these gifts, including the lovely notepad, pen and chocolate, this Christmas has welcomed me in a way that excites and soothes my soul.

Warm thanks to my Proxy Santa! The beautiful stole is as bright as the blue summer sky and shimmers like the gold in your heart, all together sewn by God in one, tender, soft fabric. Thank you too!

Way back in 1962, a wise guy wrote these lines and I share it with you as a token of my heart felt thanks:

Have a holly, jolly Christmas;
It’s the best time of the year
I don’t know if there’ll be snow,
but have a cup of cheer.
Have a holly, jolly Christmas;
And when you walk down the street
Say Hello to friends you know
and everyone you meet.

Have a holly, jolly Christmas and spread this cheer throughout the New Year!

    the only post after Priya’s http://www.homeofbeliefs.com/choices/ that left me smiling throughout. It is simply amazing how Christ, via Christmas, via Santa, teaches us that the happiness one gets from giving and sharing is so much more satisfying than the joy of acquiring. Merry X’mas to all… :)
